1. Make sure the bicycle is in good condition
2. Make sure you have lubricated the bike and have satisfied the ABC test
3. Give out some basic tools
4. Brief them about the bicycle
5. Set clear expectations on how you expect the bicycle to be taken care of
6. Any kind of damage should be taken care by the person taking the bike on rent
7. Seek a referral before renting it to a person you don’t know
8. Hand out a good lock with the bike
For folks looking to rent out the bicycle
1. Ride the bicycle and make sure you are comfortable on it
2. Point out any defects or issues with the bicycle before hand
3. Secure the bicycle when you are not around
4. Use and maintain the bicycle like its your own – use it, donot abuse it !
5. Be nice and clean it up before handing it back
